Chicago is way better than the Doobie Brothers. From CTA to Chicago XXX, somewhere they've got a song that everyone likes.
Although I favor the older stuff, since they broke out the horns more, I do like a lot of the newer songs, too. "90 Degrees and Freezing", off the new album, kicks *ss.
They're on tour right now... only a week and two days til I get to see them live again.

The Doobie Brothers, by far. Although Chicago had some classic recordings (25 Or 6 To 4, Saturday in the Park, et al.), they cannot touch the Doobies in terms of musicianship, songwriting ability, and diversity of craft. After all, the past 30 years Chicago has done pretty much nothing but crappy and corny love ballads. Also, their latest compilation disc is considered by many to be the worst compilation in the history of rock music.
I'll take the Doobies.

Chicago. Peter Citera has a unique vocal talent unlike anyone that i have heard which deserves my vote. Awwwww all their songs are soooo mushy but i love em!
