though i agree or not.. this saying wil never change.. then y shud i give my opinion..

There is usually a lot of wisdom associated with these kinds of statements which much younger people are usually incapable of understanding. However, as with all cliches, there are always exceptions on both sides, meaning; there are some instances when you get "young is gold", and also instances when you get "old is dust". Neither of these situations remove the wisdom in the original statement.
Just try to understand what exactly the person that said it to you meant, because people use these cliches for different applications.

No..i know plenty of old that have either NO gold or gold prepaid on credit cards...which puts them in the mud..
plus old in any other than a family or platonic way is ewww

Yes, because you're more or less out of debt. Your kids are grown and out of the house. You retire and don't have to answer to anyone but yourself and your spouse. You get to travel on your hard earned money. The richness of it... the 'gold'-en years.

Old is gold............NAah i dont agree.May be sometimes this can be a truth but not always.both in things and people , i dont think it fits.

sometime it fits n sometime it doesnt...take it for ur friends...i have a friend who has been with be for a decade now...we are best friends..she is really precious to me as for my new friends i like them but not as much my best friend
