Sports bring out passion in people. They live through their teams and it brings lots of emotions. The same thing can happen when someone gets hooked on a tv show. I've seen one too many people cry in a movie.

It is because of this very strong identification. It is your team, your familie who should win. You surport your team with your voice, with your heart, with your mind (If it's there in that moment.) You spent alot of money, energie and time in that surports. It is YOU that loos or win on the field. It is a great feelling if you belong to the winners. On the other hand is this loosing feeling very, very distructive. It has nothing to do with considerate actions. But it is okay during the game. This is the soul of football. (Sorry, soccer. I'm German!) It's made for that. The problem is when other things are addet. National hostilities for example or problems some groups of fans have, that nothing has to do with soccer plus alcohol. These are cases for a good and sensitive fan-care.

Because, it isnt "soccer" to them, its football, its a way of life. Realize that in almost EVERY country besides the United States, it is huge. Like, comparative to the United States, it is bigger than any single sport we have here. I mean, here, there are (american) football fans, and baseball fans, and basketball fans, but over there, EVERYBODY is a (soccer)football fan, and they may also like other sports. Their regular season is like our world series, and their championships are like our olympics. So therefore, their world cup is just something we cant even compare with. Its all about pride and beauty and passion for them in a sport they love.

I understand what surpassed off became poor, yet you mustn't blame the Argentina gamers, the fault completely lies with the ref for the undesirable calls. i'm an Argentina fan, yet I hate seeing my team win or lose that way, believe me. What surpassed off after the game is even extra unlucky, yet back do not blame the Argentines, for the Chilean gamers tried to strive against the referees, no longer the Argentines. in the adventure that they felt they were cheated by utilizing Argentina, they'd've fought with them and under no circumstances the referees. as well, there have been i imagine fifty 3 fouls observed as, with 30 for Chile and 23 for Argentina, the ref merely surpassed off to grant yellow and pink playing cards to the Chilean gamers because he's an fool.

No. Fans do not get more emotional than cricket fans. In an active game losing is really losing and winning is really winning. No chance for chance.

Not all! Only SOUR LOSERS like the English who are threatening C.Ronaldo of injuries in the next season, and those who threw STONES at Portuguese men, woman AND CHILDREN in Gelsenkirchen. Not only they are SOB's but outright CRIMINALS.
