Dear Yogesh,

I am so sorry to hear of your accident and the suffering that has followed with unnatural and large scale hair growth on your body. There are several lasers and light devices that can be used for hair removal and provide permanent hair reduction.

Lasers and light devices are the most effective hair removal techniques with very little pain. The Skin & Laser Surgery Center of New England uses a Diode laser and MediLux light device that is safe and effective for all skin types. There may be a Skin & Laser Surgery Center in your area or you could call them for a referral.

It takes multiple treatments to achieve long-term results and small and large areas can be treated at one time. A numbing cream is used before treatment to make the procedure more comfortable. The interval between each treatment varies depending upon the site and individual skin and hair type.

Click on the following website and you will find an impressive picture of someone whose back was covered with hair and after the laser procedure, it was completely gone.

I wish you well and hope this will help you find a solution. If you don't have the money or insurance to finance such a procedure, I would seek financial aid from the doctor himself to see if he has any kind of humanitarian fund to care for your problem.

Your doctor has not made a diagnosis. All he is saying is that the most likely cause of your problem is a problem with your hormones. Testing your hormone levels would be the way to find out for sure and if so, which hormone or hormones are causing the problem. If I was you I would have the hormonal tests. If that's the problem then the doctor can help you a lot.

I'm sorry that you are having do go through such difficult problems. I pray that the doctor finds what the problem is soon, corrects it, and you can finally go back to having a normal life.

You must have had some head injury or the one in lumbar region to cause this. As a result of injury or as a result of subsequent treatment, you have been gifted with hormone imbalance. Any steroidal treatment during plastic surgery? Steroids are known to cause such problems. One 20 year old girl here, having brain tumor, had steroids and she got weight gain, hair growth all over body as a gift in return.

Your Gynec tests can tell you hormones have become out-of-whack, but there is no good hormone balncing medicine in traditional medicine chest. Androgeneism is the name for this condition, and testeosterone hormone can also be little more than normal. Fortunately, your fertility appears to have remained intact.

Bio-identical hormones can be used to correct this situation. Ayurveda offers a number of such solutions. I have discussed them at:
