i know there's a superman I and II and the new one, superman returns... but which are in between? thanks, this way i can now which to watch before the new one =]

Actually there are 4 with Christopher Reeve, (Superman lll and Superman IV) but I would skip 3 and 4 unless you really want to see them for curiosities sake, otherwise you already have enough info to watch "Superman Returns". The 3rd one is with Richard Pryor and the 4th one is with a villain called "Atomic Man". ("The Quest for Peace").

I hate superman. He's so cheap. With batman, before watching the final film, I felt like he was going to die in the dark knight rises. Other people also felt this way too. With superman, I know he's not going to die. He's lifted an island of kryptonite. It's like, why even watch the new film when I know he's going to win. He always does. And even when he loses, like when he died against doomsday, he ended up just coming back. What a joke. I can tell there will be a point in the movie where it seems all hope is lost, but it's superman. All hope is never lost and this equals in a character and story that im not interested in.
