To me It doesn't matter the sex of the child as long as mine is healthy

I live in the North East UK and my local Hospital does not tell parents the sex of their unborn child because (without being racist) some of the Indian and Pakistani families were having terminations when they found it was a girl.

I have 2 girls and would have had the same given the choice, but in a world where boys are seen to be a must by many religions we cannot possibly allow people to choose.

There's a natural balance by mother nature and seeing as she's doing a good enough job we shouldn't interfere.

I would like to think no.... but then again, I've never had that option open to me, so I'll never know for sure if I would sway.
I don't believe people should be allowed to choose the sex of their baby unless it's for genuine and serious medical reasons (e.g Genetic issues with certain sex of children for parents).

My husband's brother has 6 boys and I'm sure his wife would have loved to have a daughter given half the chance.

No, you should love what nature gives you, and be grateful you were given a child at all. Besides, this is a very dangerous area. nature knows how to balance itself out, so that the population gender split is always just right. Humans are incapable of seeing the bigger picture in such a way, and such meddling could have unforeseen disastrous consequences.

yes I would, I would like a girl, but only because I am a girl and know how their minds work rather than men, I will never understand men!! To be fair I would not worry too much, I just want a healthy baby but if it was possible to make a choice then I would want to choose a girl.

no, i believe, what ever nature intended is the right one, think of it this way, if you chose the sex of your first child but not your second, and didnt get the result you wanted with your second child, couldnt this lead to favouritsm on the first child, and the second child always 2nd best, dont say that no one would ever do this, but believe me, this thing happens everywhere

i have a girl and a boy i never knew the sex of any of them as it is never 100% to find out. i have had friends who where told by docs they where having a girl and they have went and but pink stuff only to find out at the birth its a boy. it happend to my sister in law recently she was told its a boy went and bought blue stuff only to find out it was a girl. the only thing that you should think about is the health of the baby and not the sex. after all its not a doll its real and it takes a lot of time and patients and tlc

This is kinda hard to answer for me. I am the mother of 3 beautiful boys. I was hoping for a girl with this last one but it was not meant to be and there will be no more babies for me. However, I wouldn't give up any of my boys for a girl. I will just have to spoil my niece with frilly things instead.

Children are but God's gifts to mankind, so whatever gender they may come in will be okay by me. After all, whether I am given a boy or a girl, it is still my baby. :)

No, I would be happy with whatever sex they are. It might be a bigger deal for people who have a lot of boys or a lot of girls though.
