I've been getting online offers about starting your own business and making money; I think they're fake. Anyone with this kind of experience can tell me different? What about the ones that say you can work at home, and make money?

Go for the internet business which require less of your time and the one that will not make you feel headache with web designing or which require IT knowledge. Second, choose the internet based company which offer you the opportunity and at the same time giving you the convenience to start the business. Third, choose the business which does not require big money to start it.

As long as you know how to start business it isn't fake. You can work at home but you won't receive income tax unless you have taxID (this could be the last four digits of your social security #) to show thst it is your business and to get money back(look it up). You have to create a business plan first and include:specialization, services you provide, location, who you want as clients, competitors, where you will find vendors (products & services), your charge, advertising & marketing, hours weekly you work, the money you will need to get started, and any other issues you feel are important. Choose a business name (describes what you do, easy to pronounce, attract customers, be unique, and needs to be available. It's difficult to explain seeing as though there are so many septars to consider but to put it simple on a online business you need a computer. You need to go to paypal so people can pay you and add it on your site but you can make your site at www.freewebs.com. You will find such offers 99.9% as fake. When you become member, they just take away your money, close the website, opens a new one, start again publicising through your emails already avilable with them when you became their member first. Thus they continuously try to dupe you. Only a very few of the websites, having their clear introduction, background and address, etc. are genuine, like:

Try to check, if you really interested.

very few are!! watch out others just say they do and take you for a ride to get things that they say you do and by then they have enough money they do not care what you do if you discover you spent a ton of money and not what you had in mind
I went in on SMC and that is the bigest joke ever!! The bad part is they took me for over $4000 so again WATCH OUT!
