i think i remember reading something when i was a kid. i think it was a letter from school. it said "shes a good girl but shes needs help. seriously.

Yes, I've read in my sleep. In fact, it was how I memorized the Lord's Prayer. True story. It was about 24 years ago, I was a new believer and had just started to read the Bible. I remember hearing the Lord's Prayer in church, but had not committed it to memory. I'm sure I read it while awake; but one night, I went to sleep, the next morning I awoke quoting the whole thing. I remember specifically in my dream opening up to the passage where it's found.
My next thought was, "Ohh..I wonder if I put my school textbooks on the nightstand, will I wake up having memorized it!" lol
I think people probably read in their dreams only what they've perused in real life. Even if you're skimming a story or magazine article and aren't absorbing everything consciously, your subconscious picks up pretty much everything, just waiting for retrieval. I'm sure this is what happened for me with the Bible.

I heard it too, but it's only half true. I remember reading too. What's the difference between letters and other sorts of images anyway? Well, reading is not the sam as seeing words or letters.

Why can't you??
Cause when you read something from your dream there is an interpretation to that.. There are numbers that you can read in your dreams so why not letters.

I read things in my dreams. Like signs, and cereal boxes. I can't remember anything else though.

yes i experienced this several times . I tried to read a news paper, but helpless. I can see picture on that News paper but couldn'tread the matter.
