Well, he's not a good actor, but you gotta admit you're exaggerating a little. He's highschool-good. And you are a little bit jealous perhaps...?
I think that the main reason he can't be a good actor is that he's unbelievably hot; no-one in real life looks that good, it's simply impossible.
In Troy he was ok, but the other time I saw him in a special appearance in Friends and he was pathetic.
But if you think about it, art is about beautiful things that make you feel magic in the air. If someone's performance is beautiful not because of skill but because of actual God-given beauty, then it fulfills its duties as a form of art.
Maybe Brad is not a skilled actor, but he's life's finest painting I think, and he's an artful actor.

I don't think Brad Pitt looks that nice, yeah he was good in Troy (good-looking), but I don't hail him as a excellent actor either, probably better than me though. Now, Al Pacino, that's a excellent actor.

Personally I think he is a brilliant modern day actor. Gone are the days when reciting an olde english taversty, such as Macbeth, on some small town stage constituted great acting skills.
He has the ability to work with the best and compliments them greatly.
Meet Joe Black, with Anthony Hopkins was brilliant. As was his role opposite Robert Redford in Spy Game another class movie.
That is not to mention Fight Club.
You seem to be jealous of his abilities to attract women, and have not given his acting credentials any thought what so ever.
I think you need to evolve, or mature, or are extremely lacking in self esteem.
See a shrink!!!

I freely admit that he can't act. He was so bad in Mr and Mrs Smith that I seriously could not watch the film and left after ten minutes.
But he is cute, and his acting is a little bit better in some of the other films eg Fight Club.
But isn't it interesting that this question is about a male sex symbol that can't act and not a female one?

Bad Pritt/Titt isn't the best actor, but he is a helluva lot better than Angelina Jolie. She is superhot, but Tomb Raider was laughable at least. Seen them both when they were in South Africa a year or two ago; they certainly have good style in places to stay. Was also born in Namibia like their baby, so they are pretty kewl to my standards.

I don't think Brad Pitt is a good actor at all but .......
He was soooo good looking and sexy in the film ''Thelma & Louise ''.
Sometimes he looks good and sometimes he doesn't, a bit like all of us .
