It helps if you can spell krisanne... Los Angeles means 'The Angels' but they do not play in Los Angeles, they play in Anaheim. If that is a problem then go back to calling them the California Angels...

Stop the presses! How about The Mighty Angels of Anaheim!

The Twins get to represent all of Minnesota. The Tigers just Detroit. How about Michigan Tigers ?

Yes, ridiculous. Perhaps we will soon have the Texas-Oklahoma Rangers, the Detroit-Toledo-Ann Arbor Tigers, and the New York-Connecticut-New Jersey Yankees.

Why not just call them the "Angels" and get it over with. Who cares what city they are based in? Sounds like two kids in the playground arguing over who really is the better baseball player. Who really cares??

Plus, I am a Red Sox fan!!

Yeah, it's stupid, but it's all about money. The Angels' owner thought he could rake in more bucks by associating his team with LA. Sad.

How about the New York Jets and the New York Giants each playing their home games in NJ.....

It's all about the money. The owner thought that, by associating with the name LA, he would bring in some more moola cash frogskins....all he did was make the fans mad.
