Start by reminding myself that I am half way there already..
place the ten dollars I have in a secure location... don't risk it
start knocking on doors, business doors would be good. Explain that I need to make at least ten dollars over night and am prepared to work for it.
Don't wait for them to think of something you can do to earn the money, instead check out the business, is there something that looks like it needs doing? Consider how long it will take to do the job, what are the lowest rates per hour for this kind of work, and then add 20% to the lowest rate and make an offer.

ie. You approach a factory and out the front of the factory is a small bedraggled garden that is looking pretty sad.
You guess that low wages for gardening is about $10 an hour.
So you knowck on the door of the manager and introduce yourself using a smile and a good firm handshake. Explain you are looking for work and noticed that the garden out the front needs some work. Offer to do the job for $12 per hour. (by offering to do it at a little more than the lowest rate you show that you are taking yourself seriously and you also give yourself some bargaining space without going below the bottom liine.) Estimate how long it will take to do the job and explain what it is you plan to do. ie. weed the garden, water the garden, put in some new plants, whatever.

Go the the nearest Fruitshop.Find out whats expensive today. The go tothe wholeseller, and explain that you`d like to trade from wholesale to retail, but in small way.

As a trial, SELECT & buy what you can for your $10. Seperate the ripe ones and sell immediately at maximum price. The greener & larger ones will ripen tomorrow, and again fetch you a good price.

If your judgement is correct. you will succeed. Make money using your head. Do not even thinking of gambling etc.If you try really hard, not only will you suceed, you could start a trade now.

Above is only an example.May it be fruits, or whatever you feel will sell, do your survey and go ahead.

AMWAY International, McDonnalds, Ponds, all did the same.

All the best.

The system remain the same,

Wouldn't gamble - a win would be great but a loss would double the workload.

Probably canvass some local businesses and the like for cash-on-hand jobs...odd jobs, etc.

go to sam's club, buy a couple cases of bottled water... then go to a sporting event or park where people run/play sports, sell them for 1.00 each (cheaper than anywhere else and convenient for the people)..
