Most of the time,,,,NO!!!
Unless you have a super fast computer the communications going to the different Optical Disk drives are not fast. The drives can run faster than the data can get to them.
Perhaps if they are recording all at their slowest speed setting they might.
The problem is with the laser writing so fast it needs a steady stream of data. If a drive misses any data for it while other data is being sent to another drive then you have a write error and a BAD DISK for the trash can.
You can have them all hooked up but its best to only use one at a time, and even then not to use your computer for anything too strenuous (program intensive) while its burning.

Yes, you can install all three and a hard drive. Better still is to purchase a DVD burner that creates both DVD and CD as well as read both medias. Make sure that it reads and write + & - R
Then you will have one drive that replaces the other three. Price from $60 to $150.00.

Yes, as long as you only want to run one hard drive. A standard PC, with 2 IDE channels can run up to 4 devices. Usually one of the devices is the harddrive, but if you have a SATA hard drive, you can run up to four of those devices providing your motherboard has 2 channels. Even if your motherboard doesn't have any IDE channels, you can purchase a plug in PCI card that will give you 2 IDE channel. They are really cheap to boot.
