To :"ladybugewa" I hope that answered your question. In other words: I've been there, done that, bought the video, own the T-Shirt---and have rights to the movie. There isn't any word you can use to insult me that will phase me. I've been to hell and back---and without waivering from my convictions.

So they have something to brag about everywhere else. Also, it's like an investment, when they grow old, they'll have you taking care of them and funding their well-being

Some people may underestimate the time and self-sacrifice required to raise children. Nowadays, with the increasing cost of everything, and wants becoming needs, most homes in the Western world have both parents who work outside the home. After 40 plus hours/week, cooking meals, keeping the house clean, running errands, and taking children to the extracurricular activities, many parents are tired. They find there is little time for themselves when the day is finished.

Parents are never busy to be parents. They have to work to feed you and make you study so that you turn into good human beings.Well,I know you might be thinking that I'm talking rubbish, but someday you will realise this. This is the teenage life, every teenager is moody because they are changing into adults. They start liking their friends more than their parents.Teenagers are surely different.Everyday they come back from their office hoping for rest from their boss's bossiness(not business)etc..Well let's see that nobody has children, we would have neve been born then. They think that there are your own and that's why they ask you for help.I being a teenager myself can understand your problem.Never forget this,no matter how many times you curse your parents, they take it like an offering from god.You are their body's parts whether you like it or not.

People think having kids is cute. If you see a pregnant women, you may say awww when are you due? what are you having? do you need help? They get attention from being pregnant and they tend to like that aspect of being pregnant and not the taking care of the kids part. They have kids to get attention.
Same thing when you see a small baby, people think its cute want to hold and ask stupid questions. The women will think, I want another one.

There is this lady I know that has 3 small boys ranging in age 6months-3 years old. Never has time for her kids, is always going somewhere or has things planned that do not involve her kids. Not married to her babie daddy, who gives no help and support. She literally struggles as far as providing for these kids. Get this though, her baby daddy that don't help her with s_h_i_t, wants to keep trying for a girl. OH HELL NO

U r correct ,
But when they decided 2 have babies, they thought differently. They promised 2 themselves 2 b the best parents in the world, & 2 never repat their parents' mistakes...
Later in life, financial pressures of raising children, & supporting the elderly, while making space 4 oneself at the same time, makes an adult's life miserable...

I wholeheartedly agree. A lot of my sister in laws (much younger than me) are on there 4th and 5th child and it kills me that they don't even worry if the babysitter is feeding them. I stopped at 1 child to give him everything and all the time in the world. It's really sad... Set your priorities parents, you only get one shot at raising your kids, you can always get other jobs...

This is a good question.
they have children mostly because of tradition. people get get a job, get married, and have children.
A lot of parents love their kids and try to their spare time with their kids.
my parents are wonderful, their number one time is for their children, then for their business.
people have to be ready to sacrifice their time and money if they want to be parent, otherwise dont bring pain to innocent child.

at that point in their life they thought it was the right thing to do.

You should feel lucky that they decided to keep you and not make you a satin in the underwear or flush you down the drain

You know, they have them because they love them and they want to procreate and bring a child into the world. Parents are not always thinking correctly but love is usually behind it.
