As the England team members are suffering from injuries, there are less chances for England to win this Ashes.
Not only M Vaughan but also many other good players are also having frequent injuries. Even for the Indian Series and the Lankan Series, many of the key players had missed the matches due to injuries. On the other hand, Australians are on fire by winning all the six test matches that they played this year.
On the whole Australia has some upper hand in the upcomming Ashes. Don't feel otherwise if you are a supporter of English team.

Last year England's Ashes triumph 2-1 mightn't repeat this year. Australia are good enough at home after beating South Africa n Bangladesh at home.
England on the other hand are an injurious side and if M Vaughan can be in the side they might be 25% of winning.
England should not be captained by all-rounder Andrew Flintoff.

Superb Statement:
"Marcus Trescothick backed Andrew Strauss to succeed as England captain despite seeing his fellow opening batsman lead the team in a record 5-0 one-day series thrashing by Sri Lanka"

One of the reasons why England won the 2005 Ashes was because they weren't really effected by injuries, and their inability to beat Sri Lanka (the series finished 1-1) was due to an abundance of absentees.

England seem to be building up to the Ashes, and will probably use the uncoming Pakistan series as such.

No way, the Lankans kicked their ass in the pommy backyard. They cant play spin and they have to face warney and mcgill. Their last ashes win was a fluke. Aussies rock. MAy be if the entire aussie team decides not to play and let their B-team play then England might have a chance. The cricket team is as bad and hyped as their soccer team.
