some tiles just don't have a shiny glazing. if the tile has a texture to it, then really that's all the shine it will have. if you have a piece that wasn't set, just extra, compare it to the set tile. the set tile should have the same shiny glaze as the extra piece. if the extra piece is shiner then there is a bit of a haze on the tile from grout residue. contact the manufacturer if possible and ask for cleaning suggestions. if not possible, start with a bit of vinegar in water and elbow grease.

Most soaps leave a film on tiles I purchased a steam mop, just cleans the tires with steam and leaves no film or residue, they look like they did when they were first laid. See if you can borrow one from some one to give it a try. You will love it. Good Luck

sure hun-there're 2 products i'd recommend for this job: "Tilex " for soap scum and other residues in a shower .Works on bath tub surface as well.Or in case of a heavy old deposits-use "comet " powder first, applied with two sided sponge and then rinse off and spray with "Windex" and finish by wiping with a dry cotton cloth.
your tiles will shine as well as your bath tub or shower floor. :)

most all tile manufactures will tell u to clean tile with just a damp mob and warm water. it would really help if u had " soft water".
