Remeber the good times. 2 best friends passed away when I was VERY young (13 & 16) and to this day I still get sad and cry (I am 25). But at the same time I laugh at all the crazy things we did. And I feel/felt blessed to have them in my life.

Sorry to know that your best friend passed away. I think the best thing you can do is to pray for him and keep in your mind that all humans will pass away either sooner or later... You can join any Charity society and keep yourself busy...
Life is full of lovely persons who could be good friends.

Just remember him and remember it's okay to cry sometimes. It's healthy to feel grief and sadness for a loved one. I know how you feel, I lost someone special about 10 years ago, and while I don't think about it constantly, nor let it rule my life, he is remembered by me. It is hard not having someone around who was such a big part of your life. Good luck.

Did he leave you anything of his? If so, get it out and display it within eyeshot. The more things the better. maybe you could collect some more things like he left you. This helps me. It's kind of a way of you telling the person they are still in your heart.

the pain of losing someone we love so dearly is really difficult..what your suppose to do is to engage in new activities that would excite you.in this case, you'll be able to put your attention into something different. make new friends, meet with other people, go out a lot..

This is called mourning. It is natural for you to feel this way. Time is a great healer. I am sorry you have lost such a dear friend.

My condolences in the loss of your friend.
keep his memory alive -- even if your friends now don't know him it helps to talk about it. Explaine to them what a wonderful person he was. Smile every time you think of him!

do you talk to him? i mean when you think about him, do you talk to him, i talk to my dad, when i miss him, and makes me feel better, and i ask for guidance when i misplace something, or am about to do something silly, or just to have someone to listen to me, don't get me wrong, i know hes dead and will never come back, but i do believe that he can hear me and that i can count on having that ear to listen to me when i need one, it is a part of letting go and a way to keep me sane, try it, lol
