why is that so that i don;t trust anyone, as i think people tend to lie a lot.. what can i do? are everyone distrustful? or am i being naive?

actually, there are some honest people with a high level of integrity, not too many, but still there are some...maybe you or a close person have been hurt a lot by people before, or you had a few shocks that made you think all people are liars...
life becomes really hard when you cannot trust people, but you know what... it is even harder when you trust them... it is mush better when a person shock you with how honest and good he/she is, than to shock you with how bad he is! you are always prepared for the worst and this is absolutely helpful for you to keep going!
do not try to change this in you! i would do anything to be like you! i trust people easily and always take what they say for granted... this is called being naive!!!!

May be you're brought up like that....full of suspicious....which actually is not good .
Do you often get threated badly / unequally or promised not fulfilled ? Then this may be the answer.....
Try to have trust in yourself 1st then ask yourself why am I like this.....am sure there'll be an answer .
I don't blame you at all...people nowadays lie alot....the best thing try to have as many friends as possible .....then from the bundle of them am sure will have 1 - 2 or even more best friends......then start building the trust....have confidence.
You're not naive ....just like me...may be too family orientated & you're not able to speak out....& you may feel left out....this is very common .....
Trust will only be able to build up with times....be alert but please don't be over ...by making alot of friends , talking & sharing ...you'll soon build the trust.....Good Luck

You're being very smart! I've been hurt so many times, so I don't blame you for being distustful! People are stupid, judgmental, and so cruel! I don't even socialize very much because of it! I just stay to myself, my family, and the few close friends that I have. May I give you some advice? Talk to people, get to know them, and then decide whether or not you can trust them. There are good people out there, but they are very hard to find.

No you are smart. Why should you go around and trusting on people? People have to gain their trust. When we trust in someone means we are giving something valuable to the person...even if isn't that valuable. I don't think you are skeptical, suspicious, or pessimist because you don't trust easily. I think you are careful because in someway you learn this is the best way to prevent damages.

Did you have some kind of bad experience with people? all of us are a mix of good and bad character. I have my experience of not trusting some pple, esp when i know they have been talking strange things behind my back. Your feeling is not wrong, but need to strike a balance. Would you be glad if someone believe you wholeheartedly? I will be delighted if he/she do.

its a natural feeling man, everybody is suspicious in this world, u r not the only one, but the thing is u have excess of it.
to release the feeling, u can learn lot of books related to personality mgmt, or any self improvement books....

trust is not something you can get at first but to trust someone and eventualy ull be remove of ur prob
