you should know that men are homosexual because of incresed levels of female hormones and comparatively less levels of testosterone. which results into a male's body, but the mind of a female. i agree with the diction part...yeah i do. But not all gay men are alike.

Dude, I don't know where you got the idea that gay men talk "gay".What is talking "gay"?Are you saying there is a gay way of doing things? If you are saying that then you are saying that with your eyes closed and your ears plugged.Only a fraction of the gay men I have known would fit into this very narrow view of how gay men communicate.
Sure, you have the queens(effeminate men) who behave in the way you suggest. And perhaps that is who they are or what makes them feel comfortable with themselves.Perhaps they have less testosterone then you and a little more estrogen then most men.But it is silly to think all gay men behave this way.I dated a Marine who was as masculine as they come.In fact I think he could have benefited from losing all that macho crap and get in touch with his feminine side just a little.
I know what you're saying dude. You want to see guys acting like guys. That would be attractive and there is nothing wrong with wanting that. But going to the clubs and coffee houses is like going the homes of the queerest of queens. What do you expect? You're not at a straight club where the guys can't dance but are always looking for a fight.No.This is the fabulous realm of the pansies.
Why not try broadening your experiences by increasing your encounters with people in different venues.Try joining a gym.Try visiting a beach.Try Internet dating and making new friends online. And most importantly of all, try not being so judgmental. There are enough judgmental people in the world without you adding to the preconceived notions of the fundamentalists who think all gay men are ballerinas with beards.
Lastly, remember, there is acting straight and there is acting gay.But both are just acts. The only true measure of a person is who they are regardless of whether they are masculine or feminine. If you can't see that then you may never find happiness and may end up jaded.Keep in mind that you are not the first guy I have heard complaining about this.YOU ARE NOT THE ONLY MASCULINE GUY!Even I am masculine. But I can be effeminate when I want to.I play with this side of myself for humor and kicks. But it is not the sum of me.I can be as butch as any street taught rough neck. Why?Been there.Done that.

Not every gay man talks like a sissy, dude. Just like every gay man doesn't have to be a lisping hairdresser or florist.
I know plenty of gay guys that have perfectly 'normal' voices or even "butcher" voices than some of the hetero dudes I know. Some of them are automechanics, some are cops, some are plumbers, some are firemen.
I think you're focusing too much on the stereotype - or perhaps the only gay men you know. Perhaps you ought to consider looking around at guys outside of the bar setting.
Find yourself a guy who has come to terms with his sexuality, but doesn't agree with the lifestyle (remember, homosexuality is not a choice, living a gay lifestyle is). If you find him, experiment and have fun. Then remember that I told you so!!! Go on, prove me wrong!

Ohhh darling... really that's ultimately a rather dull stereo type.
Am I fitting the bill? Maybe if you really let go you wouldn't be creating all this bias, I did it years ago and you know what I understand why so I no longer judge... too much. I really get the culture now, I studied Sociology, Psychology and others that analyse social behaviours for many years, you only understand a culture once you have immersed yourself in it.
By the way we only judge others by what we fear is in ourselves.
And hun I know you've got it, let it out!!!!
BIG hugs M

Many don't.
What you are doing is sterotypeing baced on a common minority of the group. Many gay people talk normal and can't be spotted unless you ask them about there sexuality.
The girly gay is a sterotype, not a true gay person, not all gays talk like girls, it's like saying all blacks talk like Bubba from Forest Gump.

How come straight guys have to be so ignorant, With this question you won't ever experiment with a guy or a woman, because you just insulted both sexes. So who"s the dumb one?

Well you want to experiment but not if they sound like women (cause apparently you don't like them either), so you're gay but afraid of effeminate men, why, do you talk like a girl?

I don't act or talk gay, if I didn't tell you that I am gay, you would never know. I'm proud of who I am and not ashame of being gay. I once tried not being gay, but I hated myself, so I came out and everybody treat me no different than before. Beleive it or not there have men who ask me to have sex with them and they were supposed to be "streight".

Certainly men who say they do not like women should not try to become or even to act as one. They are men and it is more attractive to present yourself as who you are. As far as speech is concerned, in any group there are always those who try to sound "cool" or trendy. It does not mean that they are,but they try.

It sounds like you aren't interested in girls if the only reason you won't sleep with a guy is that they sound like a chick!

I know!! it's so impossible to avoid! I'm gay and I thought I was not feminine, but then I saw myself on a home video and I was such a sissy, I wanted to kill myself. So trust me, it's not something we do on purpose (at least on my case).
