I think this would be one of the things I would have to think about first, if the star in question had a full medical test and came up healthy, then fine, otherwise no way.
They are in a rather dangerous job, but they are people and doing a job so one should at least respect that they are not sitting on the welfare line living off our contributions.
And if this was just a date, whats the harm?

As a male I will admit that I'd like to go on a single date and hope to get some action in the bedroom afterwards; however, to be in a relationship with one is not something that I'd like to do because they are very very high maintaincence

NO WAY! I would worry about them "performing" with other women and not taking me any serious. Just think of sex as a job. I want a real relationship. If all they do is sex they can't really be able to connect with their partner. Sex is suppose to be shared with the one you love not with everybody. Plus I would worry about STDs and HIV eventually.
