My chest is really small, for my 38b boobs, so I was just wondering if that was it, or just my body telling me Im about to start my period.

Lots of women and girls get aching in their breasts before their periods start. The aches are caused by changes in the hormones estrogen and progesterone, which are responsible for a girl's menstrual cycle.

For some girls, these aches are less frequent as they grow older. But that's not the case for everyone - some women continue to get aches in their breasts for as long as they have their periods.

So what can you do? Cutting back on salt and caffeine may help some girls. Wearing a supportive bra during this time is also an excellent idea. And taking an over-the-counter pain reliever can help ease the pain.

Another thing that a girl can do to lessen menstrual breast pain is to exercise regularly all month long. Obviously certain types of exercise (like running) may make things worse during the time when your breasts are hurting. So on those days, stick with an exercise that is lower impact, such as biking.

This is perfectly normal, unfortunately as women we get a lot of symptoms before we start our period. Breast tenderness, irritability, cramps, sometimes diarrhea, are just some of the most common ones. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but there are some over the counter medications that can help ease the discomfort of PMS, and the cycle it self.
Good luck,
Claudia

Its a common thing that happens around that time of the month. I know because I thought I was pregnant, it was just that I was getting my period.

It's natural. Your whole body goes through sensitivity training when you start nearing your period. Lots of hormones go crazy.

It's natural, don't worry. :)

It's a hormonal thing...get used to it. I'm 32 and they still do this...the only time it was worse was the first week of breast feeding...yeow!
