Just wanna get some ideas my husband and I had are first child, stretch marks not a problem for me it is the fact that my stomach (sorry for the description) feels like pizza dough I think this is really hindering my ability to feel intimate with my husband who says he love's me every day, and I know I am lucky to have such a great guy.

But my situation how do you get over your own self-perceptions and do you have any tips on how to get the lower abdomen a little tighter, I am not looking for a miracle or anything just some improvement.

Anybody else have this problem or feelings?

I know exactly what you are going through! I had my son about eight months ago. The "pizza dough" stomach is really bothersome. It does get better though.

Breastfeeding will help but leg lifts also help tighten your lower abdomen. Lay on your back with your legs straight out in front of you. With your feet together, rise your legs to a 45 degree angle ( you can also lift your head and shoulders for a more intense ab workout). Hold your legs up for a 10 count, bring them down about 1 inch from the ground. Repeat.

It worked for me. I hope you have the same luck I did. Enjoy your beautiful new baby!!

Though I have not been in your current situation, I can definitely understand why you wouldn't feel as appealing as you normally would when you weren't pregnant, seeing as how I currently have a pregnant Aunt and I hear that complaint every time I see her. According to her, a lot of women have this issue, so trust me, you aren't anywhere near being alone. As for your stomach issue, exercising while you're pregnant doesn't hurt, as long as you do it correctly and in moderation. I also think most pregnant women go through a period where their bellies are kind of "pizza dough-ish" but eventually, they "pop" and their bellies get harder. Coco Butter is also a really helpful way to minimize stretch-marks, too. Congratulations, and good luck!
