ive known him for liek 5 years and he says he wants my best friend but she doesnt want him. I still love him adn i dont kno why. its not that i havent tried to get over him i have so i want to kno if i should try and get back with him or just forget about him

He's telling you he'd like to date your best friend so I'd say that's a sure sign that he's moved on and that probably you should too. If you are having trouble accepting that it's over and maintaining a type of friendship with him where he shares this personal stuff with you then you should tell him that. Let him know that you still care for him and that you haven't gotten over him yet so hearing things like that hurts and until you've moved on to the same place as him then you can't continue hanging out and being friends. This accomplishes two things. One, it lets him know your feelings and that if he feels anything at all for you still the ball is now in his court to try again knowing he wouldn't get rejected....and two, if he doesn't feel the same as you it'll open his eyes to how hard this is for you and he'll show some compassion and restraint in talking to you and will give you the space and time you need to accept this and move on. Its better if u forget about him and move on..once u break up with someone and then again get back the feeling is always there behind ur head that u had once broken with this guy and u would be like 'what if he does it again' and u will never feel emotionally secure ever.
And altho its not always true but if a person does something once then there is a high probability that the person will do it again..
Just bow out while ur head is still help up high...

If you have little commonsense , pl do go away from his sight , he is not int rested in either in you or your friend . He is simply playing and enjoying your Innocent company . Leave him alone , concentrate your energy for nice thing yet to come your way .You need not to forget him , dirty memories will faded away after a while .Just relax .
