No. All species are always evolving as long as their environment is changing, and monkeys are certainly facing changing environments. The smartest of all monkey species has seen to that.

What do you mean by evolution?
Some people define evolution to just mean change, or Natrual Selection.
This happens all the time.
On the other hand the hypothesis of Neo-Darwinian Evolution is that with the help of genetic mutations, animals change into completely different kinds of animals over time. This has never been observed, and there is no fossil evidence to support the idea. In fact mutations result in a loss of genetic information, not a gain which one would need for a fish to grow legs, for example.

So, to answer your question: monkeys have always been monkeys and always will be monkeys, but they may well change a bit.

Probably not. Not all members of any given species will evolve. Evolution only occurs when there is some trait that some members of the species has that will give it a competitive advantage. Hence, the many types of monkeys. However, even if some of the monkeys selected this trait into their species, the same species on another continent would not, since they have not necessarily been exposed to that trait.

That's a really good question. Where did the monkeys come from if they evolved into people? Why are they still here? Did they miss the boat?

They never do or did evolve the way Darwin it suggests. Over a period of million's of years they may evolve to adjust to their enviroment, but that process is so mynute and slow, that we will never know.
So...to all the evolutionists that believe in some wack named Darwin, will monkey's ever evolve into human's....NO!!!!

hmm well the majority of living creatures will be continusly evolving,
but contrary to many peoples belief that everything is evolving aparently sharks havent evolved at all in at least 10 thousand years
i havent bothered to check it up on the net but im sure if u do that u will find that this is true

No you think human life span time... Evolution takes a very long time or cn be quick... Say a new preditor comes along ie a cat... the animals that can avoid it survive. Likewise radiation...

Apes suit their environment... But now the humans are destrying their environment. So its the apes humans think are cute who get to survive or ones that can get on with humans...

Stop thinking thins evolve on their own... its an interaction with whats goes on around things...

Humans adapt and think and have good hands to develop, apes are better climbers and fallers and stronger... humans win when organised.

No, they haven't. In fact every single living thing is evolving continuously due to environmental pressures. You even evolved a little between your question and my answer :)

Evolution depends on environmental, atmospheric, temporeal, and climactic changes otherwise any evolutional progress is infinitesimal, there probably won't be any visible evolvement for at least another few centuries.
