my aunt and uncle have been married over 40 yrs and they got together when they were in the 9th grade. They are still happily married to this day

Common, because a person thinks their first love is the next best thing since slice bread. It's a first, but if your smart you will wait for seconds thirds fourths and fifths. The first may always be good, but a person shouldn't stop at one there is always more to come in life.
I think in a love life a person shouldn't limit themselves to just being with one person to love in their life. Life is all about being able to experience things. If your stuck on one, you can never go to two.

maybe it's not very common but because u marry someone u care about so much, u might think he's ur first love (even though he's not)

Very rare. First loves are usually encountered in Grade School or Junior High School. After that, the hormones take over and it's not love at all.

its very common. Once he/she realizes he's/she's the perfect one.. DING DONG marriage proposal! Everyone can easily fall for their true love. But well, be careful. You may not know their other side yet. Wait a couple of years. Just to make sure.

I would say rare, my first love was my HS sweetheart, she left and went to college way far away, guess it wasn't love anyways first week of school she found a guy..... I have been through 3 girls since then.

i dont know if it common or not but i married my sweetheart. we were friends for 13 years then we got married.we have been married for 8 years. it has been a difficult journey for us but we are making it through.

I don't know but my dumbass did & the piece of trash stole 20 years of my life.We were together 3 1/2 years before we married,so we did'nt rush it either.I was her ATM & she is a parasite.So good luck if you do.Life is a b*tch!!!
