Sorry to disagree with the majority here, but 19 is a very healthy age to have kids. You, getting out of the teens and becoming more mature means you're strong and healthy enough to become pregnant. Also, at that age, you have the strength to keep up with something that needs so much care. Why else are kids their horniest at their teens? It's natural.
The modern world stops teenagers and adults from thinking people you're age are mature.
The only reason people say 19 is a bad age to have kids is because of the business world and money issues. It's hard to take care of a child at 19 because that's when the world is finally letting you go and considering you an adult, therefore you need to prepare yourself with a job, make sure you have what you need to take care of the kid. If you don't have all that, it does not suit the child, so you shouldn't have one if you're struggling. Make sure everything is stable.
It is NOT wrong to have a kid at 19. Listen to yourself, not other people. Each to his own. What I'm telling you doesn't matter either, in your case.
Anyway, I think you should see a doctor and get it checked out. Don't just assume it's the rape, it may be something physically wrong with you. There's many reasons why some women can't have children. Good luck with everything. If you feel you're ready, just do it. Think everything over carefully.

Seriously, don't you have better things to do first before getting pregnant at 19? And you were trying when you were 17...are you insane?? Go to school first or at least find a job that you can live with, save up some money, and then have a baby. If you're really concerned you should see a fertility specialist, not ask people on yahoo.

Make sure you are in a stable, committed relationship with the potential father. Then be certain that you can provide for a child financially and emotionally. At 17, 18, and 19, you are still very, very, young to be a mother. I would encourage you to allow yourself to develop and mature and experience life more before you jump into this lifetime commitment.
If you have trouble conceiving, I would see a fertility specialist.

Well I am not sure why anyone 19yo would want to be pregnant, but if you are determined, you need to start watching your cycles. Generally when you are ovulating, you have a slick mucus discharge from your vagina. Watch for that about 10-15 days after your period.
Personally, I say enjoy being 19. You are still a kid, and while babies are cute, they are lots of work with little sleep.

You can have a baby up to like 35 years old and older. Why do it now? Get married, get a career (in either order) and save up lots of money. Then you will be able to have been a kid yourself and be ready to give up yourself to be the mother to your child. Don't be selfish with this! 19 is way too young to purposely get pregnant. Maybe you haven't gotten pregnant because you aren't meant to be right now.

Several girls have this same problem. You may be trying to hard.wait to have sex until 7 days after your period ends.this gives his sperm count enough time to build up now start on the 7 th day and have sex once every three days after that.if this does not help your problem, then you need to go get on birth control pills for 6 months and then stop the pills and retry the 7 th and 8 th month. The birth control pills will help to regulate your cycles and can balance out your hormones. If this does not help then I suggest you see a doctor again and they will do further testing but in the mean time I would have your partner to go to the doctor and have his sperm count tested to see if the problem lies elsewhere.
good luck

Be calm and take a second thought on this matter. Do you -really- want to be a mother in that age? You must be prepared to raise a kid.You need money, you need a work, you need to have someone to share the nice moments and the responsibilities of the children. You need to ask yourself, have you enjoy your life enough in order to have so many experiences to pass to your kid?You are so young.

What you should do is either go into the doctor's office or gynecologist and ask for all the tests to see what's wrong with you or you can get acupuncture to see if that'll help you conceive. You mentioned that you were raped when you were twelve. If you were raped by an older man, he beat your uterus by banging himself inside you and causing your uterus to bleed. But please check yourself, ask the doctor to take ALL the pregnancy tests they can take to find out what's wrong.
