It's a pretty name for a girl. It is a name of the time you were born in so it must have been a popular name. Seems to me there are a lot of the same names for that same time period kids were born in. Check a baby name book for names history, or the library. The Social Security web site has lots of popular names listed.

If someone named Ariana, people's 1st impression is: she must be a pretty girl! it just that the name is too ordinary but it can be improved by changing it to Adrina or Alvarina. Do you think it sounds better?
