My favorite invention is probably the ard(type of prehistoric plow use by the Norse) because it made farming easier than using shovels to break up ground yet required that you actually work for a living.

The computer! People can see and talk to you from all over the world! I can wave to my relatives in England from the comfort of my Ohio home! To me, that's pretty amazing!
