they will work, but i prefer both alike
performance of combination will be @ 400 mhz
but here i prefer 2 of PC3200 over
PC3200 x 1 + PC4300 x 1
PC4300 x 2 .. best
(by the way, why's u wanting 2 combine the 2, if u can tell us)

the guy above has no clue. DDR2 notebook memory has 200pins and PC4300 is compatible with PC3200 but it's not a good solution to use both together in a PC due to the different timing. the timing will be set for both to 400MHz.

4300 is 240 pin and 3200 is 184 pin, so no, it won't work. Something like PC 4000 will work.
