True self control is the ability to control your thoughts and actions, and also the ability to relinquish control of your thoughts and actions, depending on which is appropriate at the time.

the dictionary definition is "the act of denying yourself; controlling your impulses"
Basically it means that you have willpower towards a certain thing. it could be an action, person, activity, group, etc.
it is hard to have it towards some things, but most of the time, it is worth it. usually, it depends upon the thing that is being required for the use of self control. it really isn't all that complicated to understand. you just have to have limits; that is self control

Self-control can mean having a clear intention in mind and then having the will-power to see that intention through, without loosing focus or direction. It can also mean not allowing ur desires to control ur actions, and using ur mind as ur primary guide in life or in a particular situation...

be alone in ur home, and try to watch any porn movie, and i bet u then know the real meaning of self control.....
