I have asked several questions and have had people ask me questions in their responses. Unfortunately, they do not provide their email address or IM access for me to answer their questions. If you ask a question, please leave a method of my responding to your question...Otherwise, don't answer my questions.

Sometimes I answer a question with a question just because that is the only way for me to get my point across. I usually don't do it but sometimes I do without even realizing it. I can't answer for the other people, but the reason I don't leave my email address is because I don't actually think of my questions to be actual questions so I don't think that I will get a reply.
Sorry for the inconvience of answering questions with questions.

Well if i ask someone something i keep coming back to the question to see if they posted the answer yet.. even though they can contact me when they click on my name.. leaving the e mail Addy in the answer is against the rules that's why they have it on the profiles for these pages for people to contact threw there and then you can send a e mail address and have Private conversations thew e mail without using the site.

They probably mean it as a rhetorical question, asked only for effect, and they don't expect or require an answer. Or they could be trying to get you to think more deeply, to ask more questions of yourself about a particular situation. I have occasionally placed questions in my answers, and it is for the reasons I just stated.

They might not know how to do it, if new users. I suggest adding to question a response to a particular person. Most people go back and read all the answers to questions they answered. :)

That is a good question. I think most people don't even think of getting their question answered. Either that, or they forget this web site is not a newsgroup or a blog.

all corespondence should be done through the site, any posting of emails would be private corespondence which as I understand the rules would be against them, they are assuming you will update the question and be sure to post all the information.

Good question, Why do they do that? People who don't make their E-mail available are either paranoid or they are hiding things from someone.

maybe they don't want you to see thier email, becaus they think you might email them all the time.
