we go to a lake and we watch the fireworks they have over the lake. its really fun we spend the night on a houseboat. i cant wait!

Nope I tend to ignore this stupid holiday that only made more popular by advertising companies. If I was going to celebrate it i would the way it was originally celebrated, Bet not too many Americans know what that is!

Actually, we do.
When my husband and I were first married, I wrote out the entire Declaration of Independence (I'm a calligrapher). Each 4th since that time, we gather everyone around (we lure them with cake & ice cream) and read the document.

Yeah, we all argue and get pissed off at each other. We're usually not talking by the end of the evening....wait, maybe that's our Thanksgiving tradition....
