And make it something besides 12345.
or anything else that easy, like password, or open,
Don't leave it posted on your computer.
NEVER tell your password to anyone, unless you can trust them 100%, IE Wife, or children tell your parents. NEVER A FRIEND, unless you know them 20 or more years. (school friends often turn on each other)
These may seem simple but I have seen it myself. A password on a post-it note posted on the side of a monitor. And a friend of mine's daughter and her friend had a fight and her exfriend gave out her e-mail address and password because they shared it.

a) Check your PC for "Trojans"
b) Change password AND alter at least one of your personal details in the "yahoo account info", e.g. your ZIP/Postal code: go to options>your account information>edit post code/address. This is because anyone who could answer correctly the following: your yahoo ID, birthday, post code, could gain access to your mail by going through "forgot your password?" and get a new password.

just make an accont that does not have yahoo mail and thats it

change your password weekly ,for example,if you have a password qwerty then next week qwerty q qnd then qwerty w ,just remember which one you are using!
