Is talent really dispuresed among teams. or is it just hype I think it will be a great season.

it will be a great season as long as the colts do not make it to the superbowl. if will be a better season if the patriots do make it to the superbowl.

Hype. I much preferred football back in the '60s when there were less teams and better overall talent. It's pretty damned good now though so I'm not some "the good old days" guy but wait until we go for one of best ever. I will say 2005 was damned good but the reffing in the last Uber Bore ruined the end.

I'm not sure that a lot of people care any more. They attend games and watch them on TV, but that's just because there is nothing else in their lives.
The games themselves seem to be unemotional events for the players until they get into the playoffs or even the Super Bowl. Then those contests often appear to be fixed. Gambling is a big business, probably bigger than any sport.

It's always just hype. Is there a season you can think back to and honestly say to yourself, "Wow! That was the best season ever!?"

As long as my Panthers make it to the super bowl, it will be the best season ever.
In reality, I'm really looking forward to seeing how a lot of the stacked teams perform

this will be the best season ever. so much talent went ot different places. Sorry to my girl,Kellp...i think the colts will get closer than Patriots...but yeah....piss me off letting James go...he and Payton was pretty much all they had...with the bonus Harrington.
