Many, many women experience a bladder infection during pregnancy and your doctor would never order a medication that will harm your baby. Your baby and you will be fine! Just take the medication as directed and drink plenty of fluids to get rid of the infection.
Congrats on your pregnancy!

It's pretty common to get a bladder infection during pregnancy. I'm almost 14 weeks and I've had a bladder infection during my pregnancy already. I was on meds and baby and I are just fine now. Don't worry too much. You and baby should be fine.

I had a bladder infection when I was about 2 months pregnant. I didn't even know I had one but they found it when they tested my urine. The doctor said that it is common during pregnancy. There are some antibiotics that are safe during pregnancy. I don't remember what they prescribed but the baby is very healthy and perfect.

If you have a UTI and it isn't treated, it may lead to a kidney infection. Kidney infections may cause early labor. Fortunately, asymptomatic bacteriuria and bladder infections can usually be found and treated before the kidneys become infected. If your doctor treats a urinary tract infection early and properly, it won't hurt your baby.

not to worry you but it is more harmfull to have a bladder infection go untreated than it is to have the medication for it.so dont worry take your meds.and be carefull.my sister had a miscarriage after being untreated for a bladder infection from stupid docs. and lay off all the caffeine.good luck it will be fine

did ur ob/GYN or GP not discuss this with you? im sure it shouldnt affect your baby, but insist you get professional advice, the bladder infection will not harm your baby, and the medications should be fine, if you told ur doctor that you were pregnant, he would have given you pregnency safe medications hopefully.

Yes, I would get them frequently and it is not a big deal,,,, you will be fine.
It will not harm the baby at all it is common,,,,having sex is a big culpert and if this is the case just make sure you use the bathroom before and after and wash up,,,,that will help stop them.
