I don't think yahoo answers was created for that purpose, but I don't doubt that some agency isn't monitoring what is being said on here. I also do not doubt that terrorist might use it for information. The serious news stations report that the internet/web is one of their major sources for information. Look how many times question are asked about what is the most important or most popular places in our biggest cities, or questions about Washington DC, and important things there. And all the questions of how many miles from one US city to another or the best way to travel there (bus, train, etc). There are a lot of questions that could look "innocent" but are really gleaning information for a terrorist cell to use.

I almost hope so. And I hope they know that the average American is getting tired of all the BS from both the far right and the far left.
But to answer your question. No.
We are such a small percentage of the overall population that their time and effort should be focused on more viable profiles: Like who enters our country and from where, like who is taking flight training and why, etc.

Yes and it is probably being used to supplement their other data bases. Google is a beaut. Employers now Google job applicants befor ejob interviews. Do think the C.I.A., N.S.A. & F.B.I. etc. etc. are not using this data.?
I bet you the C.I.S. (new name for K.G.B.,) are using it too.
The K.G.B. used Dunn & Bradstreet to discover which U.s. govt. employees were having $ problems for potential spys, by offering the unfortunate chumps $. The credit reporting agencies were a gold mine for them and a host of other Communist secret services.

of course what do you think they are just gona sit there and allow you to put your views on here. More so do you think they want you to know what others realy think, just look at some times when you answer questions to certain topics you will find a slight delay. I could tell you how to figure out the difference but then it would be fun for me any more :)

It is most certainly happening. Your ISP logs every website you visit. This information can be given or it can be hacked. The government can and does watch the much of what you do. Your phone, computer, mail, bank accounts all are watched. Feel better.

No. It's entirely impossible actually. The vast majority of users are on free accounts. Which are nameless and faceless.

Absolutely. What else would they be doing? Thinking about
Iraq or the crisis in our emergency rooms? Right.
