Does a player collect $200 after passing go if he/she lands on community chest and draws the "Go to Jail" card. The rules about Jail state that you do not collect $200 in that move. BUT!...A player is supposed to collect $200 "AS they pass Go". Does this mean the player has to give BACK the money he/she collected "AS" he/she passed Go??

You collect the $200 right as you pass go. The community chest card happens after you gain your $200, so you're in the clear. They mean that you do not pass "GO" after you are sent to jail.

No. The "do not pass go" part only applies if Go is between Jail and the community chest space you landed on when you drew the card. If you passed Go before landing on the space, you get to keep the $200.

the player gets to keep the first 200 earned for passing GO but does not get to collect a second 200 on their way to jail.

step 1 - you rolled the dice
step 2 - you moved you piece passed "GO"
step 3 - you land on a new space
step 4 - you collect $200
step 5 - you pick up card and read it, following it's instructions
step 6 - your card said "GO TO JAIL", so now you go to jail
* had you been somewhere else on the board where you now needed to pass go - you would not be allowed to collect $200

u get 2 keep the 200.00 if u pass go and then by some strange reason u get the "go to jail" card once u land on the community chest. u still gotta go to jail, but u get to keep the 200.00. now if u didn't get to pass go and u get the "go to jail" card before u pass, then u don't get 200.00 and u still gotta go 2 jail. just because u might pass go (cause u got the "go to jail" card) u still do not collect 200.00!!!

Community chest is located after "GO" one step beyond and you get $200. You then Forfeit your winnings upon drawing the card.

if u pick up the com chest card b4 passing Go, then you do not get $200. if u pick up the com chest card after passing Go, then you DO get $200!
