I started drinking them last year as they helped me concentrate when writing papers for college but now I need atleast one a day just to get by. I use to drink 4 everyday but to save money I cut down to 1 and save it until 8pm so i wont have an urge for it later and then blow another 2 dollars.

I tried switching to coffee but it didnt work so I am assuming it is not the caffeine.

It would be like that for any energy drink. All of the caffeine, taurine and other stuff have you feeling good physically and mentally. It's like that with drugs too. It makes you feel good so you start to become dependent on it. It's not as addictive as drugs like crack and meth though.

It's the caffeine, dude.
A quad shot of straight espresso (not in a latte) will do the same thing. Especially if it's loaded with cream and sugar.
Get's your heart to racing. You feel like jumping tall skyscrapers in a single bound. Running faster than a locomotive.

Look! Up in the sky. It's a bird! It's a plane! No! It's Super Caffeine Junkie Dude!

I would say that you are missing something in your body that you are getting in the red bull that gives you energy. Try taking Ginko Boloba or some other natural supliment. It seems that's what you need.

yes, i started drinking them... and like the effect at first... but i would start getting headaches when my system thought it was time for another one. i had to quit drinking them because i hated the withdraw feeling! (i hate to consume ANYTHING that i think i NEED... i don't think i could allow myself to become addicted to anything. i like to be in control of myself and addictions control a person)
