My best friend who I grew up with for almost 20 years seems to have let his wife take over who he talks to or not.....Should I let him handle it or should I say something?

Definitly let him handle it. It is his marriage, and the committement in that relationship comes above all else. I would however talk with the best friend and find out why the wife feels the way she does. She may feel threatened with her husbands friends, especially if most are single. Have you ever tried to make friends with her yourself? This may help you beable to keep your friendship going with your best friend, and gives his wife time to trust you.

You should let him handle it. Could make matters worse if you say something to his wife. He will have to take her side. His wife is insecure and afraid you will make him bad. Some wives think that way.

Say what you want , just remember he loves her and if you say anything bad about her he will most likely never speak to you again. Not to mention it will give her another reason to tell him not to talk to you. When a person marries the two become one or so it is written.If he loved her enough to marry her he is prepared to make her, his life and forsake all others.

Let him handle it....but maybe if you see him alone sometime, you can mention how much you miss talking and hanging out. Either he'll get his balls together and put an end to that manipulation, or you'll have to find another friend.

He shouldn't cut off his friends just because of her unless that's what he wants to do. And it sounds like his love for her out bids his friendship with you so just stay out of it for now and maybe he'll contact you and that will open a door for discussion. Then you can say whats on your mind.

Say something to him.If he does'nt handle it,he's not the friend you thought he was.Now if you are the friend that likes to get into stupid sh*t...... I don't blame his wife,but otherwise she's a controling *****.

If he stopped talking to you how are you gonna say anything to him. He's a grown man. Don't blame it all on her. He should be able to stand up for himself. If he can't do that then F**k em!!!!!
