I was just wondering cause i can sing and i practically live for music and i wanted to know if anyone shares the same interest.

Are you saying you want to sing for a living? I am a professional singer with 4 recordings behind me, as well as 20 years of performing experience. I also teach lessons privately and I will tell you what I tell all of my students- get as much training as you can and make a commitment to being the best that you can. This could include learning things you may not want to do for a living, but will help you with the craft. Perhaps songs that you don't normally sing, music theory and maybe some instruments. Just be open to getting experience and know that you really have to work at this, like anythng else.
As you are doing that, make sure to learn a skill that will help you with the practical side of life (in other words- a day job). If you want to keep it close to music, learn something on the technical or business side of music, like recording or business/marketing. Chances are you will need to supplement your income when you are starting out and there is nothing more frustrating than being at the mercy of minimum wage jobs that cut into your gig and rehearsal time.
I would also recommend working with a school counselor or advisor to see what type of careers work with your personality and come up with a plan.
If you just want to do it for fun, look in your local paper for auditions for community groups. That is the best way to get experience and meet other people who like music. That is how I started my career when I was 11 and I loved it!

I used to think I was pretty good..but here's the thing. You have to find some way to practice everyday and not starve to death! Good luck, my man. Only try to make a career of it if you have a STRONG DESIRE to sing. And back it up with an education.

I do. I find myself singing all the time when I am alone. I guess I can sing better than the average person but it's nothing that could be called great.
