im trying to find some kind of source that can give me some dirt on christianity, especially its missions to foreign countries. im doing a research paper on it, and i dont quite know where to start

Well, the Red Cross and the Salvation Army were originally quite religious. They still carry out religious missions.

If you're looking for ways in which religion has screwed up humanitarian efforts then you might want to check out non-Christian or anti-Christian orgs and governments. They usually have a place where they denounce Christian efforts because (insert reasons).

Read the Poisonwood Bible by Barbara Kingsolver...it's fiction, but exposes some of the darker aspects of foreign missions. A great read, too.

About some dirt on christianity, you could research on the Inquistion (generally called "Spanish Inquistion"). That's probably one of the biggest dirts ever about Christianity, and you can start in the link below.

I don't know a specific source but the crusades were pretty appalling.
