I bought an expensive powder brush because I figured it wouldn't shed all over me. Nope! When I am done powdering I spend like 5 or 10 minuted picking black hairs from the brush off of me. Does anyone know of a good brand of brush...that wont shed???

Is it old your powder brush? Do you wash it? Sometimes is good to wash the powder brush. Mine brushes start to loose hairs when is time to have it replace. I have brought different brands but I didn't see that much difference between one to another.
Channel has a good collection, it has higher rates on my guide for cosmetics, but it is extremely expensive. Try also those from sephora, I heard they a good too and not expensive as those from Channel. Good Luck.
PS: If you decided you must wash your brushes, try using some shower gel.Open the water and leave it run on your brush sided down (don't turn it up) until the shower gel had been completely removed from your bush. Leave it to dry naturally, don't use hair dryer or towel. I do this before I go to bed, so next morning my brushes are already dried and feeling like new.

i.d.bare escentials has a Kabuki brush in 2 sizes. I have found that the bristles in these brushes do not shed and they are reasonably priced.

Bobbi Brown's line of makeup brushes are heaven sent! I purchase them at Nordstom's or Sephora.
