Right after the incident Ronaldo did provoke Rooney. Was Ronaldo the cause of Rooney getting a red instead of a yellow card? Any Man U fans out there,...how do u feel about Ronaldo now?

Ronaldo wasn't responsible., He could've said anything and still the decision to give Rooney the red card was the referee's decision alone. I personally do not think that Cristiano Ronaldo was aiming to get Rooney thrown off, maybe what he wanted was to get a free kick...and again the referee...being Argentinian and all took his revenge on the English by getting rid of Rooney..think about it.

M-U fans will raise hell I imagine. The smug smirk and the wink that C. Ronaldo gave the bench after Rooney was thrown out = big trouble.

I guess they could forgive him over time, but the fans might try and get him thrown out first.

I dont think Ronaldo will go back to man united.....they have won nothing recently. I think he will be better if he moved to a bigger club like Real or Barca Or Milan.

He shouldn't. He should grab his *** and run. It takes two to tango: the loose cannon and the "player" who clearly baited him, and I'm sorry, but to me, that sort of behavior always makes me feel I'm looking at a team who only sets the other team up to do something stupid because they don't believe they can win the match honestly. I'll take passionate stupidity over a cowardly crook any time.
