This is the kind of question my mother used to ask. Kind of a midwestern koan. Are you from Ohio? Is it cold enough outside for a cane?

I walk to school. I carry my lunch because I get hungry when I'm in the school. If I didn't have to go to school, I would eat at home, and would not have to carry my lunch to school.

We do many things at the same time during the day, like listening to the music while driving. Only one task is considered primary at a time.

both, but that was in the 60s, Seattle. The rain, oh God, the rain. Yellow plastic heavy rain gear, it was aweful. And the bathroom floor was always cold.

In the 70s (Valley Boy, God's Country, San Fernando Valley, Pristine Suburbia, Los Angeles) I turned my motorcycle into a fire breathing monster (street racing) and made my own copies of the keys to the back door of the (stagecrew) gym so I could blast over to Jack for lunch.

Yea, High School was fun because I made it so.

And by the way, Jack stole the idea from me of blowing up that old clown at the drive through. It just cried out to be blown up. Great minds think alike.

Back when I was in school, yes, I walked every day.

My mom went to work during the day, so my sister and I had to do a lot of things on our own.

We walked to school from grade school to high school, stopping near the end of high school as I finally got a car.

Hope that this helps.
