Check out www.mypyramid.gov, lift weights (to speed up metabolism), and get active. Unfortunately, 145 at 5'3" is a little overweight.
The golden rule to keep in mind, is that ultimately, in order to lose weight, calories "in" must be less than calories "out."
Oh yeah, don't listen to that "wrist" test thing. Bone size increases as your weight increases (aka it gets thicker to support extra weight) and will decrease as your weight decreases, but the length of your fingers usually doesn't increase. Coincidentally, I've only heard that it's "real" from overweight/obese people, but have been told by Dr.'s that its not true because of what happens to your bones.

Before you start on a weight management dingi. We need to have an average of 2200 calories to be healthy, to function properly but it only happens when we are at complete rest ,normal people is between 2000-2400 k/cal, each time she takes the formula 1+ 3, it is around 110k/cal, so, take two times is 220 k/cal right? and a meal like char kuey teow is around 800k/cal, so 800 + 220 = 1020
one fruit like banana is 110 k/cal plus the milk you use as mixer
you are taking around 1200-1300 if you follow the programmed
Don’t skip the any meal, must have 1 normal meal, if not then you are short by almost 900k/cal for your body to function properly. I tell you!, a lot of problem later!! u will balloon up 2-3 times later and become really fat.
Try to calculate your food which u taken daily, go to sports. Or may be you can email me and ask me. Lotkot@yahoo.com

do not problem about your weight. Your problem should be staying healthful. also, do not forget that on the instantaneous you're dealing with puberty and your body will take many years to "even out", which potential your weight and length would variety until eventually your hormones cool down. also, if i'd upload, it really is bigoted of your father to inform you you're overweight. Your father and mother are meant to love you in spite of your length, and, until eventually you've been so overweight it became putting your health at risk, he's a jerk for telling you you're overweight. If he tells you something alongside the lines of "shed weight or no boys will like you" or some crap like that, do not pay interest! you're fantastic merely the way you're. merely problem about searching after your self and staying healthful.

The weight charts will tell you that it is, but I don't believe it- IF have a large frame. I was perfect when I weighed one forty something, and wish I weighed that today!
Place the thumb and middle finger of one hand around the opposite wrist. If your fingers just touch, then you're normal... and should loose a few pounds. If they don't touch then you have a large frame- mine don't even come close to touching. If your fingers overlap then you really do need to lose some weight, as you have a small frame.

Don't eat less. You need to speed up your metabolism. So you need to eat 6 smaller meals throughout the day. You need to eat healthier, more protein, less fat. Start walking. 30 minutes a day is sufficient.

Move around more and eat less. And check your BMI (body mass index). It is a much more accurate measure of health than just weight.

not particularly, your relatives are rude, and you should tell them just where to put their opinions. You maybe 15 lbs overweight, depending on your frame, and muscle mass.
