Remember when jew's would get mad when you said they looked jewish......how can somone look jewish, they would say, judaism is a religion...how can somone look jewish. Why don't jew's say this anymore?

Jews are people of a religion, not a race, so in the flesh there are no characteristics that are unique to them.

Originally, Jews were a Semitic people (like the original Muslims in the Arab world), but nowadays Jews come from all over the world and people even convert to Judaism.

So for those reasons, you can't positively say someone looks Jewish. In fact, the look that people have spoken about over time can often be an Eastern European look. That is very different to the look of a Spanish Jew who has a more Mediterranean look. A lot of Jewish people with darker skin look very similar to Italians.

So, you are right.....Judaism is just a religion. Jewish people don't say this anymore because most people have figured all of this out and don't ask the question in the first place!

Being Jewish is a Religion not a race. Usually someone's race can be seen by sight.. Skin color, hair color, eye color.
That's why Jewish people don't say anything about "looking Jewish". There actually used to be questions on forms that identified Jewish people as being a minority. Finally someone figured it out. I've never heard anybody say.. "Wow..she doesn't look Chrisitan to me.." or "I thought all Buddists had big noses.."
I thinks that Nazism considered Judeaism as a race and look where it got Hitler... Where he should be.. DEAD

It's not a "Jewish"thing,it's just that people who are Jewish tend to be of whatever descent makes them look and talk like well...a Jew.

There are Asian jews as an occasion the kaifeng jews of china and cohin and bene israel jews of india. The kaifeng jews look chinese language, on a similar time as the cochin and bene israel jews look South asian (indian). All 3 communities are theory to come again from a fusion of diaspora jews and local populations.

Yes, he does, and no, he doesn't. Jewish people are like all other people, each one is different. You cannot always judge a persons heritage by their appearance, so it is futile to try. Get another hobby.
