I'm not quite understanding what you mean? If you are saying replace the key in a different spot just pop them out and stick it where you want it to go. Or if you are saying when you press the keys they pop up as something other than you r pushing it might not be installed properly and you need the disk to install it. I hope I helped you. Also you can go to control panel and go to hardware then click on keyboard and see if the problem is there.

Have you cleaned the keyboard lately? You may have to pop the non functioning keys off carefully to get underneath. Sometimes a tiny bit of food, moisture, whatever gets under the key and it will then not function properly. My coworkers insist on eating while at their pc, and you would not believe the stuff that comes out when you tap the keyboard on its side a bit upside down - carefully - and this should be done once a month. Good luck and hope that it is as simple as food under the keys.

Just go to a retail store and buy a simple corded keyboard. You can find a good name brand one for under 10 dollars in some stores. Me, I like my cordless keyboard and mouse set. Mine cost me around 70 bucks. In other words, I would just buy a knew one.

You can use a program called Shortkey Lite to replace the keys but it would be better if you just get a cheapy new keyboard.

I use eKlenz Keyboard Cleaners. They do a good job of cleaning the dust and dirt between and on top of the keys.

usually if a key doesnt work, its not the Key its self, its the button under the key that its suppose to hit, you probally need to replace that.
