If you decide to take one, do some research first. Make sure you DON'T take one that has (for example) 500% of the recommended values, since you can overdose on some vitamins and minerals. Stick to known brands that have been around for a really long time, like Centrum, and have 150% or less of most of the vitamins/minerals listed. Keep in mind Vitamin C CAN be consumed in large amounts because the excess is passed in urine, so if you see 300% of that, don't worry.

These vitamins are used as a supplement . For example, if your body lacks in a vitamin/mineral that it needs the supplement compensates for the loss. A very good additive for your daily routine:) Hope this helps
