You may just need a round of antibiotics, you may have a stubborn infection, it really helps. Also, if you have a bar in it, put a ring in when you start the antibiotics, its easier to clean this way.

If your piercing has been healed for over 6 months and you have had the issue for over a week since using the H2Ocean then you should see your doctor and have him prescribe an antibiotic, but don't take it out, you can heal it with the piercing in.
If it is under 6 months healing time it may just be a flair up so be patient if it doesn't clear up in a few weeks then see my above advice...sometimes they flair up in the summer from all the sweat in that area.

In addition to what others are saying, make sure you have a quality navel ring. Sometimes when using the cheaper ones, this can happen. Go back to using your starter ring. Maybe this will help. Maybe your allergic to the post. Ask the place where you got your peircing done for a better ring, or different metal quality. Oh and wear clothing that will not pull on the ring, loose cotton instead of jeans for a week or so and see what happens. Maybe the material is bothering it.

Eh, dont try to much of the peroxide, rubbing alcohol, neosporin, ect. My sis has had many peircings, and they said that too many antibiotics will heal them too much. It will cause the peircing to be rejected by the body and push itself out ever time. Now I am not sure if this is true exactly, but its still a good tip. A place that does piercings should have some type of cleanser or something to help with the infection.

I'd say you need antibiotics to get the healing started. Keep it clean. Don't use deoderant soap use an antibacterial one followed by peroxide & apply neosporin at least twice a day. Keep a bandage on it during the day so as not to get anything in it then at night remove the bandage, clean & add more neosporin & let it get air. Most important thing is to keep it clean.

I had my belly button pierced too and when I took it out it started to close it self really fast and clean, u probably have an infection once you take care of that infection with some kind of naval disinfecting (you can get some kind of disinfectant for infections anywhere you can get a piercing) .
It should heal on it's own also don't touch it too often.

Piercing can get a bacterial infection sometimes. You say it has a puss. Take that puss to any pathological lab and tell them to test it for antibiotics resistance test (I dont know the name of test). Also if it has a puss, why don't you sqeeze it out. Clean all the puss and pour hot water over it as far as possible. Show the test report to your doctor and then he could be able to treat you.

Does this amaze you? Here are bunches of answers telling you how to try to heal a self-inflicted cut! Even some advising antibiotics. Since when is it cool to hurt yourself to be stylish?
Take the ring out and let it heal.

Try antibiotics... but keep in mind, if your body is rejecting it too much it probably isn't supposed to be there. I have mine done too, just on top though. And I hardly took care of it and it healed wonderfully. My friend on the other hand... her body rejected it and actually pushed the ring out of her body! so she has a scar that looks like it got ripped out.
