Finding friends is tough especially when I have been stabbed in the back by all friends in the past.
This one girl that I got along with well in a class last semester asked me if I wanted to go hang out but then at the last minute she flaked and said next week she'd give a call but she never did. Okay, fine. So then I asked her via text what she was doing this weekend but she did not respond: no text, no call. She responded to my texts before, it is reliable.
Does she not want to hang out with me? I don't want to call her back and seem desperate to hang out with someone?
This also happened with another friend, when he quit the office he stopped sending me emails. I emailed him one more time but he never responded.
Then another girl at work I got along with, who is filipina, said that she replied to my email but she never did.
I am pretty nonchalant and friendly when it comes to my reactions but I am really hurt. No one wants to be my friends or what? I am not boring!
What should I do

Gee, I'd begin to wonder what the heck is going on. OR you seem to be choosing the wrong friends. Do others seem to be having the some probs? Maybe you're just having a bad run of things. Perhaps if anyone ever gets back to you, you might be able to ask THEM what's up.....

Keep looking for new friends. You obviously haven't had much luck so far. There are a lot of losers out there and it doesn't get much better as you get older. People don't really change much after 5 years old your personality is pretty much set in stone at that age. Don't let it get you down.

have you ever thought about signing up for some kind of program or sport. You have to find people you have similar interest with. check out my 360 page and I'll add you as my friend. : )

If it was one friend whoi did that to you i could have been able to say something but when u say all ur friends have done it to you..then its u who has to ask the question to yourself whats going on..
I had faced this problem when i was in teens and found out that i was really trying to make my friends like me no matter what i did.so i kep losing my friends one by one. and one day my dad asked to ask this question to myself and i found the answer...
now i have lots of friends and i make new friends almost everyday..
So i would like u to ask urself who's fault is it actually...

i don't want to be a flake but if your question is like a book of your life I get tired of reading after about four lines.so if you could cut your questions down to about four lines you would get better more truthful answers

Re-evaluate yourself. If losing friendships is a trend then there's a chance that there could be something wrong but then maybe not.....

People are not flakes but can be flakey. Meet more people.
sounds like your circle of acquaintances are immature.

well.. i thought i was the only one with that problem and everyone keeps lagging on me... but hey thats the way it is... i guess their parents never taught them not to lag on people because that makes a dent in your character... oh well
