I think it would be a waste of energy doing anything that would only end with America in a worse position than it all ready is in. If the Democrats were all locked up, the Republicans would have no one, but themselves to blame for Americas global blunders. The best thing to do would be for both parties to end the cat fights and actually listen to the people of this country regardless of party affiliation.

Locking up over half of the country? What a brilliant idea.
Bush would then even have more excuses to add to our national debt. The only problem with your logic is that these same hard working moderate Americans are the ones who have to pay for Bush's giveaway of our taxpayer money.
With all the Democrats in jail Bush will have to expect the Republicans to pay for it themselves.

I’m no democrat, nor am I a cookie cutter conservative, but I believe in a system of checks and balances where both (of the major) parties tend to keep each other in their place. A one sided system of government would be disastrous to any country.

And then the Republicans would rule all? What a boring world that would be. Having multiple partys is what makes a democracy...if you don't want that move.
(and yes I realize that there are more parties than Rep's and Dem's but in our society they are very small, and we basically have a two party system)
